Hi guys, somehow my xbox was set to PAL by my nephew in accident. I need help to correct it. My xbox got Xecuter3 chip inside. I tried to go to XBMC (w/ moving picture, it's hard to read anything) I can't find the menu to change the ntsc/pal output. In my dashboard setting menu, I can't change the ntsc/pal setup. (error msg: unable to access eefprom (if I'm not mistaken))
I've googgled other solutions using Enigmah Video Mode Switch Disc. I found the file video_select_v2.iso. I have extract it w/ xiso and found a folder named 'media' and a file named 'default.xbe'
Is this the correct file that I need? How do I made the bootable cd? I've tried to burn those 'media' folder, 'default.xbe' file and a dummy file 1.bin (50-100MB) using Nero however when I load the cd into my xbox (w/ chip off) I got error msg (Xbox unable to read unrecognized cd). If I load the cd into my xbox w/ chip on, It goes straight into my dashboard/hd.
Can anyone tell me how to made this bootable cd?
Is there any other solutions?

Well I'm not a man of mod chips, I'm more of a soft mod kind of guy but I have some experience with Evolution X. I don't know what dashboard you have but in the Evolution X dashboard you can go into the System Utilities section of the dashboard. In there, there is an option about the Xbox loacation and you can select whether you want NTSC, PAL, or Automatic. In which you would select automatic. If this doesn't help you let me know and I could try to help you more!
Hi fuz23, my dashboard is avalaunch. I've tried to go to avalaunch setting menu and manage to see the video options and see 'pal' on one of the setting. However, when I tried to click that one to change it to NTSC. I can't go in and it give me an error message. I can't read what the error message is.
