hello, I tried to put avalaunch files on my xbox manually so i could use it as my default dashboard, I put it in y drive, which I only have original hard drive so I don't know why I have y, but anyway I know I put them on, I just installed x3 ce chip, before I tried avalaunch stuff I could get to x3 config live, now I can't, I have dl AID 3.0, and burned it 2 different ways, but neither one will totally, after my mess up my xbox will only boot to original m$ dash, unless I go to back up bios then it goes to flashbios screen, but when I put AID 3.0 disc in it goes to microsoft and xbox logo screen and sits there, please any help will be appreciated

You have a "Y" because that's one of the cache partitions on Xbox hard drives.

Stock hard drives are partition as follows.
C - dashboard
E - Save files
X, Y, Z - Xbox cache

Lastly, D is reserved for the DVD drive.

All you did was load Avalaunch on the Y drive, which shouldn't have made a difference.

However, from the way things sound, there's probably something you're forgetting...

In any case, just use the back-up BIOS on your X3 to reflash the other banks and then use AID 3.0 to set up your hard drive for you.

yeah because after that my x3 config live wouldn't boot anymore, back to original m$ dash, it won't read back up games or even an original game, I used the hotswap method to go back into xbox and removed the files I put on it, I put it back in the original shape it is supposed to be, I was told to clear out udata and tdata, I manually put most of the avalaunch files in c drive, but couldn't put the folders in through explorer360, I will try the FTP method, the xbox will read the burnt bios on my flash disk, because after that I tried to reflash, but it didn't change anything, it is as if my hacked bios is gone

ok venom here is one for you, I finally got avalaunch to boot up, no xbmc or any other apps on it but I realize i have to supply those, my problem is I can't get original or backup game disc to read, the avalaunch disc I created worked and the flash disc worked, but no other disc would work, Aid 3.0, or slayers auto installer, is avalaunch a hacked dashboard, isn't that what I need to play backups
