Is it possable to get xbox live with a softmod? i mean yea ppl tell me you can't but i juss wanna be sure..

i have the splintercell saves,just click my name and go to my links section....and you must have an XBL account on your xbox before you softmod...

ohhh i still have the splintercell save on my xbox.. so juss boot my xbox up with the disc tray open? and i can juss unmod my xbox to make an account... :P i have splintercell and the game save so... and if i play on xbl i'm gonna get booted right away cuz i'm gonna use mods.. maybe :P

aslong as the xbox is back to original state you can create an xbox live account no mod can be on it...

so u mean if i make an account then soft mod it then go to the account it won't work?

just make sure all parts of the softmod are gone before your create an XBL account.

so juss unistalling the soft mod won't work.. or do i have to take EVERYTHING offa my xbox including the softmod

okay then i make the account the reinstall the soft mod and i should be able to get on xbox live still? or do i have to keep it off?

create an account,then install the softmod and choose the Dual-boot Ndure Retail option and you will be able to play online....
open eject button=retial version xbox for XBL
power button= modded dash
only SID 4 and 4.5 have this option

no you wont be able to go onlive like that you need to use the dual boot option.

it has the dual boot option but when i click dual boot it juss goes to my regular modded dash

the dual-boot option is chosen when you softmod and the eject button should boot to the ms-dash...

when i open my disc tray it goes to the MXM and then from there it allows me to go straight to my MSdash instead of loading my modded dash.. will that work?

is there a way to set it up so it does? cuz i used the Splinter Cell Linux save offa xbins.. maybe thats why it doesn't work?
