i have a netgear dg834g v2 wireless modem router with a successful internet connection and i am trying to connect my playstation 2 with network adaptor through a buffalo airstation wyr-g54, i have no idea why the buffalo router does not connect to the netgear router as it has no security.
please can anyone help me with this.

you cant use a router to connect to a main router. if you really want to do it that way, what you do is...

Get a laptop with wireless capabilities.
Connect it with your netgear router and make sure the connection is working by going on the net.
then connect the ps2 to your laptops Ethernet port using an ethernet cable (RJ45 i think).
on your laptop, go to Control Panel > Network Connections.
you shud see that the local area connection is on and the wireless connection is on.
Highlight both the LAN connection and the Wireless Connection, and right-click > Network Bridge (or something similar should be displayed) click on it. There should now be a network bridge with the LAN and wi-fi connections. check to see if the internet then works, and now u shud be able to use the ps2 online, using your laptop as a router.

i got this from sum site a while ago and if it doesn't work then i might be missing a step. the website has something to do with hacking and has a dark background. just search "connect ps2 with laptop" or something similar.
