Downgrade PSP - NOT "TA-082" version

Please, need help... Several days ago I buy a new PSP in Berlin -> Germany. I look into the UMD port and am pretty shure that is NOT a "TA-082" version. My PSP is "IC6001" version...
My question is when I buy the PSP was 2.50...
Can I downgrade it???
Is there anybody who buy the PSP with 2.50 and downgrade it sucessfully...

yes upgrade to 2.6 then use the downgrader in my sig and that will get you a 1.5
|

Why I need first to upgrade to FW 2.60???
One interesting thing is that the demo disk that was with the PSP was with upgrade to 2.00... but PSP was allready 2.50...
Please, where and how I can upgrade to 2.60...

well you update becasue if you have a factory 2.5 it has been said it will brick. So update to 2.6 then downgrade to 1.5
|

ok, so I did the first thing to do... I upload to 2.60...
Now it's ok to downgrade to 1.50...
I have the EASY Downgrader 2.50/2.60 FULL - Is that ok???
...and, of course, GTA-LCS.
Just one thing, if my GTA is newer (the pached one) did this will brick my PSP...

Alright yup your ready , and no it wont brick your psp it will just unfortunately not allow you to run the eboot

Hi, please how much chance is that I will brick my PSP...
The procedure is easy and I think that I will do it without any problem... so, if I do all the procedure in the right way, there is allways a chance to brick the PSP, isn't it???
If anybody know, in percent, please, how much is possible to brick the PSP if everything is done right???

i dont know if anybody wanna answer this, seems you're looking someone to blame if you srew your psp. there's a slim chance youl get brick. if you have the all the proper items and followed procedure properly. lots of people have done it this way and i dont seems to notice posts about people bricking their psp except when thay break mold of the proper procedure. never interrupt the downgrading process.
so the downgrade about 2.7 removing the stick on upgrading to 2.8 is WRONG from the very procedure, hazardous. even though some reports it didnt bricked their psp but their stucked at 2.8.
as for downgrading, double read the procedure. think in your mind how you will do the exact procedures.if you have confidence and you think it will be successful go for it. if you are thinking twice, have someone do it for.i know its scary but believe me homebrew world seems larger than the one $ony has showed you.

Ok, cool... I just... You know... nut generaly I'm good in computer working and stuff like this, I read the whole procedure about 555 time on diferent site, but I just want to be shure not to miss anything...
I even watch some of video on YourTube.com. I think the only critical moment is when the screen goes blank and the memory stick start to flashy... this goes about 2, 3 minutes...
So here I have another question...
If after this 2, 3 or 4, maybe 5 minutes the memory stick led FINISH to flash, and the screen still stay blank, what I have to do???
How much I have to wait, and exactly what I need to do???
Thanks for every help... and sorry for my english, is not the best language that I know to speak... ;-)

dont bother downgrading, you dont have the guts.
you can only downgrade if you can say this to yourself
"i dont care if this psp get bricked, i can buy a new one"

wait.. so doese this mean a umd port that says "IC6001" isnt a TA-082 board? cuz i remember being told a non-TA-082 mother board isnt supposed to have any writting there?

hi all i just bought a psp to "IC6001" ver. ver 2.60 but everywhere i look i need gta lcs for the downgrading to 1.5 is there no otherway? since if there are 2 ver. of that game the new once dont work only the old 1 and if i need to figure that out also how do i know if i buy and old ver of that game or new? anyway i hope there is an other way to downgrade

the reason you need gta lbc is because its the only game that lets you run homebrew games so with out it you wont be able to boot up the downgrader so just borrow it from a friend or rent it since you will only be useing it for about 2 min's

i had saw a picture about this some where ima try to find it for you from what i remember you can tell by the serial number on the side of the cover if it has A i think its a 2.0 but i will check
sorry man couldnt find it im sure some one els will

There is no way currently except for the psp mod chip and that needs to be expertly installed.
