Yes they have them for the slimline
No i would not try installing it yourself unless you are VERY good with a soldering iron and very tiny wires and soldering points.

DMS4 Pro SE is my top pick, the Matrix Infinity, then Crystal Chip V1.1
The good chips, which you will be sorry later if you get a cheap one, are between $45-$55 for the chip and about $35 plus shipping for the install.

Yes they have solderless mod chips like the DMS4 Pro EZI
But many people break these while trying to install them, plus they cost more.
I do not install, but if you go to teammodders.com you will see an install service on the main page. Fill out the request and they will respond within a few days. That is where i have all my work done.
If you have the mod chip already then it would cost about $35 for the install plus the cost of shipping to and from the installer (usually no more than about $15 each way)
my choice for a chip would be a DMS4 Pro SE

I second Team Modders. I have a system that was modded by them and it has worked great for over a year.

Yep, Davebere (of teammodders) has got to be the best installer out there.
