After the phone boots up, press #
Press * 3 times fast for (p)
Press * 4 times fast for (w)
Press * 2 times fast for (+)
Verify code before pressing the last #.

I read the attached article. It doesn't say that my phone "can't" be unlocked, unless I'm not reading it correctly. It says that it might not be able to be unlocked. This is fine, since I am in the UK and cancelled my US Cingular service anyway, so the phone is useless unless I can unlock it and use it with a sim card from a UK provider over here.
