I bougt a mod chip called aladin live and i can play burned games and everything is fine. but when iam loading my xbox I see the original xbox screen with a little logo on the top saying evo x. I dont know what it means, is it my hardware? my dashboard? iam telling you this because I want to install xbox media center and when iam reading all the manuals on how to install xbmc it says that I have to go to my dashboard (evo x,avalaunch, etc//) and go to setting and I dont have this option on my xbox, I just have the orignal options of Xbox. So I would really appreciate if someone could give me a reasonable explaination on how to install xbmc without erasing or damaging the original dashboard?
I just want it as an app on my xbox... Do i have to use a crossover cable to install it through FTP? or can I use regular internet cable.?
can you give me a link for an autoinstaller for some of what you mentioned
depends on your set up, most people use a crossover cable to FTP But with an auto installer disc you would go to a torrent site.
Get the one you want like Auto INstaller Delux 3.0 (AID 3.0)

then download it, burn the ISO file to a disc, put the disc in the Xbox, then reset the xbox and the disc should load up.
