I'm a cave diver and am working on a project to help me document caves. Aiming to get it on a budget, and willing to build it with clear enough instructions. I'd get a Tivo, but it combined with a power source is way too big to fit in most caves. Has to be very durable, as some caves have vertical drops at which handstands are necessary. Also looking into ways of capturing video, debating whether or not to use digital or analog. Possibly combining IR and regular recordings, as in one cam with IR and one without(enhanced recording). Combining separate feeds into one "Enhanced" feed is not a priority, and i know how to do in post-production. Basically look for a way to capture video in a compact durable way, which can be implemented into a helmet and small pack.

Thank you very much for reading. Any help on this project will be appreciated and noted in credits.
