Just purchased sony's 510a burner along with dvdxcopy and will be installing into a HP 753. I currently have a dvd-rom and cd-rw in the pc. One of these have to go (there is no empty bay for a new drive)- question is -which one? I use the cd-rw quite often- it's fast and I haven't had any problems with it. The dvd-rom is rarely used. If I leave the dvd-rom, can I burn directly from it to the new dvd-rw, or will I still have to rip-it to my hard drive? I have read that I should not install the DLA software that came with the drive - is this true? Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated by this dvd newbie.
