What are the error you are recieving? Give me some info on what they prompt you. Also, re-enable KernelFaultCheck it it did not solve your problem.

Hello, I was looking in the event viewer and came up with these iexplorer errors.

19/07/2006 5:25 AM Application Hang Hanging application IEXPLORE.EXE, version 6.0.2900.2180, hang module hungapp, version 0.0.0.0, hang address 0x00000000.

Faulting application iexplore.exe, version 6.0.2900.2180, faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x409460e0.

24/06/2006 11:24 PM Application Error Faulting application explorer.exe, version 6.0.2900.2180, faulting module explorer.exe, version 6.0.2900.2180, fault address 0x0000b1eb.

All the errors are happening generally when im am shutting down, the message i get is iexplore.exe is not responding either cancel or end option. When i select end it,it reappears and my only option is to shut down. Also just recently windows loaded then shut down and restarted over again . All of the above just started the past several days ago, I have not installed any new programs or updated any drivers, but i do recall when i got one of the error messages it gave me the option to debug and i used that option. Could that be causing some of these problems, or is there maybe some hidden spyware or virus.

After some reasearch I have found nothing that is directly related to this problem. I will contine to research this problem for you. In the mean time, update Windows. Also, check all IE drivers to see if there are any yellow exclamation marks beside any of them. I'll post any info as soon as I find it.

Hi Niobis
I have not tried your solution as of yet, I did start looking for errors and came accross something that im not sure of. I found system32 drivers and one is TRJ_NTAUTO and when i did a search it found it in C:windows\system 32 named as trj_ntauto.tmp. Is this a legit system file. Also EXPLORER.EXE is showing up twice one in c:windows\system32 dll cache and one EXPLORER.EXE-082f38ap.pf in prefetch.

Hmm, good question. I'd delete the tmp file becasue it's only a temporary file. The other one is safe.
