I have just tried burning an mds file of a dvd using DVD Decrypter and when i went to put in my player it didn't load. I checked on my computer and it said disk empty. Thats strange... it said disk copy successful??? I tried again with a new disk but the same thing has happened. It goes through the motions in DVD Decrypter and then i'm left with a blank disk at the end of it??? wierd! this has never happened before so if anyone could shed some light on the matter i would be most grateful. I am using verbatims MCC 02RG20 x8 DVD-R on lite-on DVD-RW.

Hi.

Did you save your DVD Decrypter log? If so post it back to this thread.

Has your disk been written to at all? Is it perfectly blank on the write side or is there some burn?

Hello again.

Your burner firmware is several versions behind. You have version PS05. The newest seems to be PS0A available here:

http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=2175

Click on the version number to download to your computer.

Then double click the downloaded file to open the archive. (You may need WinZIP, WinRAR or some other archiving software to open the archive file).

Double click the PS0A.EXE file to execute the firmware flasher program.

You should also probably increase your burn speed from 1X. Try 4X.
