Maybe this is kind of a dumb question, I'm kind of a dumbass sometimes, but is it possible to "mod" a ps2 by removing a chip? I mean, it seems like there should be a chip (or group of chips) that is/are responsible for recognizing domestic games from foreign ones, and authentic games from copied ones. so if you went ahead and removed it, what would happen? I'm sure it's not possible, otherwise more people would be doing it, but yeah, anybody got any suggestions?

lol. What would happen is that your PS2 would stop working. Its the bios that determines whether a game is real/domestic/import or not

Always 1st with 100% working PS2 Online Game DNA$ IDs!!
