I was trying to fix a laser arm problem when i think i knocked my power/eject ribbon, so i put that back in and it was fine but then my disc wouldn't spin(laser ribbon was loose) so i fixed that. So while doing that I knocked my power/eject again but this time when i put it back in, only the reset button light comes on, the eject button will take it out of standby but will not eject the tray. Worst of all the browser does not come on, the laser does not come on and the disc does not spin. A combination of all of my problems. WHAT DO I DO NOW?!

What version is your PS2?
Regardless it shouldn't be too hard it should really mainly just be a plug in the cable and go sort of thing.

If the ribbon cable that goes from the motherboard to the power/eject button is damaged, that is what you should be replacing first. If its not damaged, then change the power/eject buttons. Before you buy anything i recommend that you test the fuses on your motherboard if there is no visible damage to the ribbon cable. Just post back exactly what the problem is, is it 100% the same as Whiteo22's problem. What version ps2 did you buy?
V4. I turn it on, but nothing comes on the Screen. I already have an Extra Power/Eject cable, and im sure thats not the problem. The buttons also light up, so im sure thats not it either. Nothing comes on the Screen. I turn it on, and its as if its off. Im sure the cables work, because i tried em on my PS1. Im thinking about just selling it now, but if i fix it, i can use it, or maybe sell it for more. Oh, and BTW. This isnt Rick James. I bought a PS2 from him, and he is letting me use his account lol. Im getting an account soon lol. Just call me Segato.
