Man I don't want to purchase EYE TOY.
I have USB WEB CAM.

So can any one tell me how the EYE TOY works?

Is there any software to activate or install eye toy? If so then please send me the software.

I think eye toy is nothing but a web cam and we all can use our web cam as Eye Toy with the help of a little software.

What do u people think?

I am trying to make it work. Help me

Yes, EyeToy is, for all intents & purposes, a webcam - in fact I use it as one on my PC, with drivers downloaded from the net.
However, you can't use any other cam on the PS2. It has to be an EyeToy. The software that makes it work in the PS2 is included on every EyeToy compatible game, but the PS2 has nowhere to install it, or drivers for a PC webcam, separately & it runs from the disc.

So if you want to play EyeToy compatible games, then you'll have to buy an EyeToy. You can pick them up very cheaply these days. I saw one for £5 (approx US$8.50)

Hey can any one try attaching a normal web cam into PS2 & then run a EYE TOY game?

Ace1uk just try if u can to play a game with a normal web cam.

If it is works then ill buy a game for that.
