Hi, just want to know the difference between the DRU500A(X) and the DRU510A??? is it only because DRU510A burns DVD+R at 4X??? is there an upgrade firmware to change from DRU500A(X) to DRU510A??? let me know, thanks

Its not just DVD+R at 4x, its DVD+RW at 4x and, no you cant just upgrade 'legally' the firmware to make this work!
However, cheap medi dont tend to be liked by the Sony models
