Are the max memory USB things good to use?

Cause I just had a max memory 64mb card it it recently deleted all my game saves... So now I want to back up all my game saves onto my pc... And the only cheap way I found to do that is through another max memory product...... I know the HDD will do that but that is 40 gigs and all I want to do is save games to computer, definately not 40 gigs worth....



Any suggestion?

also can i put the files on my computer into my 8mb sony ps2 memory card?
