Video problems with converted game Champions RTA

I have this game on a dvd disc, and when i play it on the ps2 it doesn't show all the dialogue text. I think the problem is when I set the game for NTSC system (I'm from Argentina, here we use NTSC, PAL games don't show correctly on tv)and the game doesn't have the option to adjust the screen. What can I do to fix it? is it possible to adjust the screen from the ps2 menu?
