Hi

I have downloaded the trial veriosn of dvdxcopy xpress and this is the software i'm trying to use to back up only fools and horses dvd onto a -R 1 disk.

I have only fools and horses series 3,4,5, They are something in the region of around 8GB.

I put the dvd into my rom and start dvdxcopy it reads to 99% of the dvd and then pauses and you cant do anything.

Would really appreciate if any one can help or has had any similar problems. Also what is the capabilities of dvdxcopy xpress and if it cant do that whats the point of it.

DVDXCopy Xpress is designed to allow you to compress, through decode and encode, a DVD-Movie with over 4.7GB of data into a DVD-R format of less than 4.7GB.
It is similar to DVD Shrink and DVD2One

Sorry, i havent had any problems like the one you mentioned. Please display your Windows Version, the version of DVDXCopy you have the trial for and the DVD Writer you are intending to use for others to help you effectively!

Hi

My PC Spec:
AMD XP 1700, 512SDRAM,40GB,DVD,CDRW With Win XP Professional.

I have the full licenced copy of dvdxcopy and that works perfect for dvds under 4.37GB on my system.

Using ver 2.0.1 DVDxCopy Xpress Trial version (14Days)

I don't think DVDXcopy (or Xpress) supports episodic discs i.e discs containing more than one episode of a series - there is a note about it somewhere so maybe that's the problem. Best to contact 321 studio support.
