I recently installed a flip top for my slim ps2. When I was isntalling it, i popped out the original cover and a dark copper spring popped out. At one end it had a long line of metal and at the other end it had a little hook. What this spring did was popped open the cover when you pushed the button on the ps2. It really isnt a huge deal but it is very convinent to press the button and the top pops automaticaly. Can someone please tell me where this spring goes? Thanks!

Is this the spring that pushes the lid open when you press the button? If so it goes at the back next to the hinge.
