It doesnt mean anything, it has something to do with the refresh rate on your tv, happens on some tv's not on others, even though it doesnt happen on every game it doesnt mean anything.

Hmmm ok thanks...i was just wondering as some of my backups do the red flash no matter what system or tv i play it on still does it and on my other PS2 some backups it does it and other doesn't despite its the same discs and burner...
I even tried booting a original game with swap magic using slide tool and it still flashed red which i thought was really weird.

It does happen, happens on my ps2 sometimes too, dont know if it is specifically with some games, never really take much notice, but dont worry its nothing to worry about, something wierds happens on my cousins ps2, when he loads up swap magic, the screen kinda rolls twice, like a roler, then stops, sometimes happens sometimes it doesnt, but like i said its nothing bad, so dont worry about it mate.

it means that its having a little trouble reading the disc, but if the game still loads, there is nothing to worry about.

Are you sure about that? Ive played imports without a single scratch on it, fresh out the case, and it did the same thing.

When i say "trouble", it could be scratches, cheap disc, OR the disc is in a format it wasn't quite expecting (order of files, etc, could be many things).
