My Ps2 network adpter

My ps2 won't detect my online adapter for some reason I was playing Online yesterday but then today it won't detect it. Because I went too the game settings in the game and pressed the online button but it all ways says
"there is no network adapter detect on the PS2, you will not be able to play online"

I really need Help! :(

Try with another online game, and unplug the network adapter and blow on the socket and put it back, could be some dust in there.

Have you tried running the network setup disk on the ps2?
