I can't play any Resident evil back up in my PS2 it just freezes at the logo screen. I can here the disc spinning faster and faster inside the console and eventually it just stops. I have a Version 3 ps2 modded with a original duo modchip. I can play any other ps1/2 backup fine.

A few years ago I think I remember playing a backup of resident evil 3 on my console. But I may be imagining things, I haven't changed anything since then either.

Update, seems that Dino Crisis 2 will not work either.
All of my other backups work fine however, do I need to patch all capcom games? I thought I only had to patch anti-mod chip games and as far as I know only RE3 (out of the games that doesn't work)has that, can anyone please help?
