Hey, I'm just wondering if I can play a burnt PAL game on my ps2 without any conversion needed. I heard that the matrix infinity 1.54 could convert the game for my NTFS system -is this true? I have the matrix infinity 1.54 clone though........

Its NTSC not NTFS (thats a file system) and no I don't think it can convert it. You would probably need to patch the game.

any good chip like the Matrix Infinity or DMS4 Pro SE will play either format just fine.
My DMS4 Pro will play either. For some games you will have to set what is called a force mode that forces the game to display as NTSC, and possible a Y-Position fix setting to turn on. But other than that it will still play them correctly.
