I recently ordered those from Meritline and only 3 of the the first 20 bruned successfully. It would eject itself after 95% burn rate and say bad media,etc. Using clone dvd,,I haven't bought from meritline in a while,,are they selling bad media now or tried to pull a slick one and send me that so called TY vauline grade media?
they should be ok. Vauleline can be find everywhere. hmmm, you my just have a bad batch, but odds are likly if you fail with TY it would be in conseqetive order like that. because of machin failure or what ever.
Although by no means a guarantee that you have legit media, here is the code from some premium TYG02 (TY 8x DVD-R) take by DVDIdentifier. Compare and see.

-Since half the questions here involve media problems, here ya go: Only use Verbatim or Taiyo-Yuden discs (get your TYs from Rima.com, not Supermediastore or meritline). Forget the rest, no matter what "brand" they sell under. Always burn at 4x speed regardless of the speed rating of this discs or your drive. If you have burn problems with these then you have to update your drive's firmware. For double-layer discs, only use Verbatim DVD+R DL and burn them at 2.4x speed.
These are the media codes I have gotten with this batch of media,,I have used TY for the last 2 years and had a few coasters from time to time. This batch I have had at least 20-25 coasters,,that would stop at 95% using clone dvd.
