I keep getting this error when trying to burn with shrink. It dosent matter if the disk has or hasent been copied yet why is this I have uninstalled then reinstalled the program but still no luck it just started doing this is there any reason this is happening? I have DVD 43 running in the background and have also backed up several movies with Shrink in the past including the copied ones that will no longer work?
Please help
well, if you are using the exact same disk and the exact same software as previously, and getting a different result, something else has changed that is affecting the softwares ability to function properly. don't know how to track that conflict down.
my suggestion would be to try dvd fabdecrypter -> VOB blanker -> shrink, or ripit4me (all free and available for download and guides as per below) and that at least would tell you if something has happened to your disk. it would be a starting point unless someone on this thread comes up with an actual knowledgeable answer.
sorry nothing is working. did you disable DVD43 when running dvd fab and/or ripit4me? there could be a conflict there. and you do likely need to use VOB blanker after dvd fab and prior to shrink. mind telling us specifically what dvds you are backing up? can't imagine that is the problem, especially since you say you have backed up the same ones previously with the same software. and since you've uninstalled and re-installed shrink, it makes it even more mysterious. i'm assuming that since these softwares work perfectly for the rest of us, that there is something peculiar to your system, or some particular setting in shrink or elsewhere, that is now preventing what worked for you before to no longer work. did you change any system settings or uninstall or install new software or hardware prior to this problem arising? someone with way more knowledge of shrink, and software in general, will need to help you out. sorry.
Invalid DVD navigation structure is one of the many well known protections nowadays. However, there are ways to get around this issue.
