Cannot FTP into XBox, please help

I've been trying to FTP into my XBox for several hours now and nothing I do seems to work. I've gone through several tutorials and tried several different methods of connect my XBox to my PC. I am using EvoX Dash/softmod.

My current setup is through a HUB which has my XBox, PC and Internet connection all running through at the same time.

Are you using a legal version FlashFXP?

I got the same problem. In Evo X it doesnt have a IP address and I'm using smartFTP

what program you use to FTP mlurl ? and did you give the xbox's ip address when you conected ?

all xbox have ip address ,killac18 , did you got it hooked up to your router ? you go to " system utils " then " setting " you'll see xbox's ip address there .but first you have to conected your xbox to your router or hub . good luck!

how is your PC set up, if it is set to obtain the IP automatically (DHCP) the set up the Xbox IP the same way.
Set the static option to "NO" then fill in the same subnet mask, default gateway and DNS stuff as your PC. If you do not know that then go to (on PC) START->RUN-> and type CMD
when the DOS box comes up type ipconfig/all and it will show you the information.
Mine is set up to DHCP and the router assigned it an IP once i set those and rebooted the Xbox it showed up on the EvoX main screen.

I got the ip now but only when I have static on yes and I tried the dreamweaver video tutorial but it says something like there is no client. Im connecting straight to the comp, no router, no hub, but with a crossover cable. What should I do

ok i dont kno how old this is but i got a game save disk and my x box wont play it so how do i get that and games on my x box?
