Is there any chance PS3 will have rumble in the future or is gone for good?? FPS's are just not going to be the same without it. Your playing Metal Gear. Your have your enemy in your sights about 200 yards back with your sniper rifle. he stops to pick his nose. The shot is yours. You squeeze the trigger, your heart pumping and ........wahhht?? No rumble??
This is gonna really stink to not feel that kickback. I wish Sony would have paid that stupid company whatever they needed. To be honest, I would take rumble in games over blu ray any day. We are talking a buck or two per controller compared to a couple hundred extra for bluray for a feature I don't need or want and is being forced on me.
I don't understand the greed of Sony at all. They also had a chance to go in with HD-DVD but instead stuck to going alone with blu ray. They didn't learn with the walkman, mini disc and betamax?

quit saying they are forcing Blu-ray on you. you are not obligated to buy anything you don't want. remember the format used for it's games, is none other than Blu-ray. so how the heck can you feel like something is being "forced" on you, when its their standard chosen format? did you feel the same way when they transitioned to the DVD format with the PS2?
as far as rumble goes right now its gone, but i still wonder if there is going to be an adapter (USB). that would allow us to connect and use our old controllers, but again if companies are already leaving out the rumbleness in their games, it wouldn't do too much good for the newer games.
again i don't understand people's moans about the pricing and Blu-ray. sony said a LONG TIME AGO the system would be expensive, and always stated their intentions with Blu-ray.

Because they could have gone with a much cheaper alternative and still gotten the job done. They are just wanting to set themselves up in the future for blu ray movies and the movie market and us pure gamers get pooped on in return. i will not watch one blue ray movie on my console unless I get it free, I can guarantee you that, yet I have to pay an extra couple hundred bones for something I don't want or need. I just want to play games man, that's it

Then don't buy it.
It's not just a movie format it's a game format too.Bluray for games is good.

But don?t you think motion sensing is better then rumble anyways. So look on the bright side you?re getting a better feature and you?re just loosing a not as good feature.

I think the motion thing will be good in the Wii. The motion sensor for PS3 is more an afterthought I think. Even developers were like, WTF when sony announced that. I think it may be mapped for a few cool things in select games but no way is close to being as good as rumble which is virtually used for everything

it definatly has potential but we will have to wait and see the finished product and how game developers incorporate it into the games. The war hawk thing was kind of cool but the way the spaz at E3 was controlling it, if it is like that, I would need a break from playing games after 5 minutes!! having fun shouldn't be that much work! haha

Besides one could say the same thing about xbox 360 not having motion sensing. They both don't have something.
ps3 has motion sensing but no rumble.
360 has rumble but no motion sensing.
