When I try and select the video source in TMPGEnc It says "File....can not open, or not supported". Could someone please explain this? Thanks.

You're either missing codecs, the AVI file is corrupted or the audio is in some format that TMPGEnc can't read (like AC3).

yeah I got same problem with oceans 11 divX, the video no problem, yet the audio is not highlighted :( is there a way of extracting the audio and video seperately and (re)multiplexing to a mpeg1 (vcd) format???
