hello guys, newbie here and i have a question.

is it possible to use AR max(back-up)and activate cheat codes with swap trick? im am using AR2 ver AR1.9T to boot my ps2 to play back-up games. is there any trick or methods for this???

Hey, I think you could do that :)try it,
could you tell me how you boot off your AR2 V2, I have an AR2 V2 and I can'tget it to boot my backups for the life of me!

Please could you list whatyou do in steps to boot the backup? that would help me loads :D

fyi: my AR2 Ver1.9T comes with a memory stick and dvd driver for dvd games.

heres how i boot:

1. insert AR2
2. press reset again to off ps2
3. press reset again for about 2 sec or so until green light flashes twice.
then Playstation2 logo will appear.
4. wait for the tray to open automatically.
5. then swap Ar2 with dvd driver and wait until "press X....." will appear in the screen....tray will open automatically and swap dvd driver with your PS2 back-up....and walla you can now play the game.

i hope this helps..

but is there somebody who knows how to activate codes on AR max(back-up) using swap method i mentioned above???? somebody please help.

Hmm mines a bit different thanks anyway!

An idea about your post, does AR MAX have its own dongle for cheat codes? if so, then your gonna have to program a memory card or a spare AR2 card for AR MAX, (I hear it's very easy if you have a pc adapter)
but I can't be certain, hope it helps a lil :\
