i have action replay max and a 128 meg stick for my v12. i use cdloader.elf to load my backups and it works great, but i have a massive collection of DivX films backed up onto CD and i was hoping to play them through my PS2...i've tried both SMS and reality media player but neither loaded (just went straight to a black screen). i really don't want to reburn all my films with action replay max's authoring software, is there anything else i can try?

Not really, you either need a media player for PS2 that can play the type of file that they are, or you need a program like
VSO DivX to DVD that can convert them to a standard format like Video-TS files.
Although i will say that converting them works real good, it also takes a LOONG time to do. A standard movie takes 2-3 hours just to convert it. Nero can also do this but i have not had very good luck using it for converting, i have had 100% success rate with the
VSO DivX to DVD
