ok i bought a clear badass looking flip top but i noticed it was different, its not as good as the first version of the flip top. u know the ones without the push button and they feel like the ps2 tops. also i noticed that my ps2 wouldn't read games that were 4gb. i thought it was the laser at first but when i put the clear fliptop on my cousin's ps2 the same thing happened and yeah it was the damn flip-top. so yeah i advice not to buy those kind of flip tops, its just a ripoff. i had to buy another one without the push button, i got it cheap though =)

if you want to go with a clear you are better off just buying the full case. They have them in clear and many other colors.
I have not seen just a clear flip top by iteself yet.
But it could just be something small like it not being on correctly, or being on too tight.
