Going to try and back up an original game i have,
What is the best software to do this ?
What will i do when i put my game into my dvd rw drive ?
Im using ridisc 8x and burning at 2x. I have been told they might not be good as something to do with cmg dye or something. How can i tell ? The discs are blue and silver if it helps.
thanks

First off; Is your console modded or do u have any way to boot a back up game. (I am hoping you know that you won't be able to use the copied game with a stock PS2)

Assuming you have some way to boot the disc, then lets proceed

I normally use Nero to create my back ups. But you can use just about any DVD back up software that can perform a disc to disc copy or a disc to image copy.

You can find Nero here

http://www.nero.com

Install Nero if you don't have it already installed

Start up Nero
Put your disc in the computer
if you are using Nero express, then choose copy entire disc

select your DVD Burner and then click start

when the original DVD pops out then it will ask you to put in your blank DVD, just put it in and close the drive

Nothing fancy

then you are good to go

i am not really sure about the discs that you mentioned, i have many backed up games on many different brands of DVD blanks and i have never found one that doesn't work in my PS2.

Hopefully i helped ya out

You never know what you can do until you try

Hi, i have swap magic 3.6 and have used slim tools A,B AND D.
I read in a sticky something about checking copy dvds work in ps2. I put one in, ridisc, and it worked without the swap magic. I just put the dvd in and it loaded and played.
