Office Depot
Maxel 50-Pack DVD+R/-R -$12.99
Best Buy
Fujifilm 50-Pack DVD+R/-R -$13.99
Fujifilm 15-Pack DVD+R DL -$24.99 - Are these any good?
Under the Memorex DVD sale it says "make your vacations last for years"...haha more like a few months.
This is it for the week unless Staples or Office Max has anything cuz I haven't seen their ads yet so if youre running low on dvds you better get some this week with the good sales.

I checked out next week's staple's flier, and no media on sale!!!!
Here's a few good priced items:
TDK Snap + Save cd packs. 50 cases for $8.94. They look more durable than the regular slim jewel cases.
1gb Atache usb 2 jump drive: $25,and no rebate involved.
Also lots of back to school supplies on sale next week.
BTW: I picked up some Ty-G03 on the sony dash 1x-16x at staple's today. These had the white/octagon foam spacers. They also had the round/gray spacers-which would yield regular sony media.
HP a1118x-b/athlon 64-3300+/BenQ 1650 BCDC/LG 8163B/Modded Wii/Epson-R300 and Ty Watershields!!!

The Fujifilm DL is good as far as I've seen. 30 out of 30 successful burns, they play in all my devices, etc. All I've gotten are Ritek D01 although I understand that they also come as Ricohjpn.
-Do you believe you own your computer and shouldn't be told what you can run and do? Then say *NO* to Microsoft Vista!
-Since half the questions here involve media problems, here ya go: Only use Verbatim or Taiyo-Yuden discs (get your TYs from Rima.com, not Supermediastore or meritline). Forget the rest, no matter what "brand" they sell under. Always burn at 4x speed regardless of the speed rating of this discs or your drive. If you have burn problems with these then you have to update your drive's firmware. For double-layer discs, only use Verbatim DVD+R DL and burn them at 2.4x speed.

Allow me to add some good news!
Officemax will have Verbatim DVD+R 16X 50 pack spindles for $29.99,the Sale is: Buy one, get one Free!.
That's 100 for $29.99! I suppose you could mix & match these since the 100 pack CD-R are the same deal.
Also 100 pack spindles of Verbatim CD-R for same price!
Happy Shopping!

The Fuji DLs are either Ritek or Ricoh unless they've changed manufacturers. They are also only 2.4X.

If they are not labeled MIJ, the manufacturers are usually Philips, Moser Baur, Prodisc or Ritek. There were no MIJ at my BB, thus I passed on them

I just got back from staple's. Those TDK snap cases weren't what I expected. Each case holds 10 discs,so not a very safe way to store discs.
I did find an unadvertised special of TDK 1x-16x 30 packs. Green/Blue/and Purple-10 of each color,in their own snap case.
$8.98 for the 30 disc/3- snap case packs.Regular price of $14.98
Here's dvdidentifier showed on my plus 1x-16x TDK:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Unique Disc Identifier : [DVD+R:CMC MAG-M01-000]
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Disc & Book Type : [DVD+R] - [Not Available]

Media Type ID : [M01]
Product Revision : [Not Specified]
Blank Disc Capacity : [2,295,104 Sectors = 4.70 GB (4.38 GiB)]

Lousy old crap mags!!!!!!!! I will keep the burn speed down to 4x max!!!! Should be no problem with my Q's,they'll burn anything I throw at them.
I could not locate country of origin on the TDK 30 pks. Maybe the dash 1x-16x may yield a better manufacturer's MID code?
