I'm going to start to burn 360 images soon and would just like know difference between these 2 images. Just the file structure would be fine. I want to know this for when I have 2 merge SS sectors with SS merger 1.6. (example: name.dvd + image.000 = what) the other is(image.000 + image.001 to whatever = what) any help would be appreciated. Thanks

In a nut shell

When you make the xtreme way, you get an image file and a ss.bin, now if you're using the newest stealth xtreme way, you'll aslo get other things like dmi and something else... whatever. You put your image with the binary files you extracted from dvdinfo pro into the folder that came with the xtreme package, and run the bat. the bat file will merge all the files into your image and a .dvd file. You then burn the .dvd file.

The wxripper method, you make the .iso using the swap method with a dvd drive (not the xbox) then you get a .ss from an intenet site. You then use a ss merger and get an image file with a .dvd file. You burn the .dvd file.

The xtreme method is much more complex, but works 100% of the time. The wxripper has a lot of errors in the process i find.

I don't do either, i just download the games :D

EDIT: I answered your question on merging but it might not be that clear. You don't get a .dvd file until you have merged. So you take the image, what ever method it was made, then you merge it with the ss.

If you do the extreme method, do NOT use ss merger, do the .bat method.

Thanks ronnie sorry about posting in other thread's but that guide didnt tell me what video partition to use when merging. Just a quick question. That's going to be the way I get titles is by downloading, so if there's a .dvd file it's pre-patched? And I got one coming that I'm going to have 2 merge, and I don't know what video partition to use Xtreme or Wxripper with SS merger. I guess that's my question? How do you know the difference, and which 1 do I use?

Quote"If you do the extreme method, do NOT use ss merger, do the .bat method."(How do I know it's xtreme?)
