my friend has an xbox 360 and has xbox live. he sometimes downloads off xbox live marketplace and does buy points. but he told me he had 120 microsoft poins and the next day he had 500 microsoft points.
how did this happen?
i know that you are ment to be able to get microsoft points free by doing 'spicial things' but how do you do those spicial things and what are they :)

ms is supposed to eventually have tournaments and getting special achievmenst which give you points...

well how can he get his gamerscore (20,205) mixed up wit his microsoft points (was 120 now 500) ?
he would have to be a pritty stupid person to get thpse mixed up.

there is a points generator out there i dont know what the name is though (and yes id like to know) im not sure about if he used it whether hed get banned cos isnt ms points directly linked to ms as money?

The points generator would be interesting. But how would you get the points onto your 360?
EDIT> Ohh, I just realized that it probably generates codes for the pionts, am I right?

It's in the newsgroups but I think you guys would be committing a criminal offense if you used it and it worked. Since the code it generates is actually "live" (maybe unsold at that moment but at least printed and in their computers) you're basicially stealing money. Same thing as games I guess but I bet they'll go nuts trying to arrest so many kids under 18.
And you would get your points added by selecting redeem card on the xbox live marketplace.

omg i dont care id use the ms points generator maby get the code and wait for a little while liek 2 weeks to make sure there printed and then hmm use it
but yeah you probaly have a high risk of getting caught :S

word of advice as quick as you can delete that email from that message, its not allowed to put emails in messages because 'sick' people can spam you email or even freeze it so you cant use it :O .
so I would quickly remove that otherwise mr moderator will come in and it will become very violent :0

and how would you feel if you purchased a card that had a redemption number on it that was already redeemed due to this points generator? pretty pissed i'd say, it's not like a serial, so i'm sure M$ more then likely would atleast freeze your account and possibly take more action by tracking your ip and console s/n - which if you registered your console, your stuff's all on file...

Yeah, And you wouldnt be able to call the customer support line because you have to register the console before they will do much for you. I don't think it would be worth it in the long run.

well if i bought a card that was invalid i would simply take it back to the shop and get it replaced.
