Hello,
My first post here, I have been having problems a lot lately, I have used VundoFix and SmitfraudFix and it solved a couple of my problems.

Tonight the Mirar bar installed itself. I have been searching information about how to remove it.
I have a program called XoftSpySE, it was written as free but now i need to pay to use it (they send me to a link where i need to pay). And don't want to do that. The other link I found here refer to a site where you also have to pay.

I saw the way to remove it manually, but I am not really good with computers and i am the kind of person who would delete something important by mistake.

After searching more, i searched and i can delete this
8A0DCBDA-6E20-489C-9041-C1E8A0352E75
in the registry editor to remove Mirar,
but in my computer its
8A0DCBDB-6E20-489C-9041-C1E8A0352E75

when i looked in it, its Mirar items. Just want to make sure I delete the right thing. Someone told me that to delete registry editor item could kill my computer.

Ok, I'm going out on a limb with this one. I've never heard of Mirar but, I've been looking into it for you. Instead of manually deleting the keys and risking destroying your system. Try this piece of software.

Let me know how it works out. Post a new HijackThis log because I see many entires that should not be there. Just want to see what that program will remove.

rename HijackThis to scan.exe and post a new log from the the newly named tool.

also, i got lots of pop-up i cannot remove after scanning with vundofix or smitfraudfix.

http://www.atribune.org/ccount/click.php?id=7 to download Look2Me-Destroyer.exe and save it to your desktop.
· Close all windows before continuing.
· Double-click Look2Me-Destroyer.exe to run it.
· click the Scan for L2M button, your desktop icons will disappear, this is normal.
· Once it's done scanning, click the Remove L2M button.
· You will receive a Done Scanning message, click OK.
· When completed, you will receive this message: Done removing infected files! Look2Me-Destroyer will now shutdown your computer, click OK.
· Your computer will then shutdown.
· Turn your computer back on.
· Please post the contents of C:\Look2Me-Destroyer.txt and a new HijackThis log.
If Look2Me-Destroyer does not reopen automatically, reboot and try again.

If you receive a message from your firewall about this program accessing the internet please allow it.

If you receive a runtime error '339' please download MSWINSCK.OCX from the link below and place it in your C:\Windows\System32 Directory.

* Click the Free Trial link under "SpySweeper" to download the program.
* Install it. Once the program is installed, it will open.
* It will prompt you to update to the latest definitions, click Yes.
* Once the definitions are installed, click Options on the left side.
* Click the Sweep Options tab.

* It will remove all of the items found.
* Click Session Log in the upper right corner, copy everything in that window.
* Click the Summary tab and click Finish.
* Paste the contents of the session log you copied into your next reply.
