I am really enjoying the full game. It starts off a lot diffrent than the demo, where zombies are scarce throughout the mall. I kind of felt based on the demo, that maybe after a while I would get tired of just killing zombies but there is so much more to do. I really like it alot better than the resident evil series. I already can't wait for part 2, even though I am not even close to beating this one. This is a great exclusive for the 360. I am proud to be one of the 10 millions owners of this console. As long as MS is putting out quality stuff like this, they are gonna stay on top of the next gen

BETTER THAN RESIDENT EVIL?! GASP!!!! HOW DARE YOU?!
Look i understand you like the game. But RE is legendary... RE4 was just insane, the most amazing game I have ever played. I can't wait for re5 to come out, that is going to blow away all games on the face of this planet.
Dead Rising is very good indeed, but it doesn't have that "dark" scary atmosphere as resident evil. Being invicible by button mashing x is kinda lame, and the aiming is terrible. All in all though, it is a very fun and indeed a GREAT exclusive xbox 360 game, but do not compare it to resident evil :D
EDIT: Sorry man you hit a soft spot mentioning Resident Evil :P I love you.

Me personally, I like that it doesn't take itself as serious as Resident Evil. And button smashing is not working for me right now, I keep getting killed. lol I like RE too, but I am just having too much fun playing this game right now, fun factor wise

imo, Dead Rising is a wicked game overall, i mainly like the fact that it doesnt have that grotesque feel to it, as TwoHitter said.
Also i do love the RE series, but when you want instant gore, flesh and well button mashing fun, Dead Rising prevails.

I'm a huge Resident Evil fan. I've only played the demo of this and it seems like it's pretty cool. It might be a bit repetative, but I'll check out the whole game later today. I think it'll be good, not able to compete with the greatness of Resident Evil. I remember the 1st time I played RE4 on Gamecube I walked away thinking it was the greatest game I ever played. I serious doubt I'll think anything like that on Dead Rising.

I can't wait to get infinite time in the game. Even when the game is long beat and you have accomplished everything, it will be nice to just turn on the game and let out some agression by killing things for awhile, lol.

From Wiki
Save system
Dead Rising has an unusual save system: only one game-in-progress can be saved per memory storage device. For Xbox 360 owners with hard drives, the only way to secure additional save slots is with Xbox 360 memory cards or by creating another Xbox Live Gamertag. With this single-save system, it is possible to save a game far away from a critical objective with little time remaining, making it impossible to reach the next objective in time, and thus, impossible to complete the plot.
In these cases, Dead Rising allows players to save their current level and status, and restart the game from the beginning as a more powerful player. The system is a deliberate game mechanic, borrowed from one of Capcom's RPGs Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter - the two games share some development team members.

I think because of the way the missions are timed, you couldn't complete the game in less than 6 hours in a single sitting. And that is including not doing any of the side stuff and not watching the cut scenes.

And then I try to find the nearest lawnmower to mow them down in about 10 seconds. Or get a bowling ball and try to get a perfect strike. lol!
