I had a original PS2 and a flip top with swap magic before, but sold it a while back. I'm interested in buying one of the slim PS2s and was just wondering what options I have to playing Japanese imports without using a mod chip?

How do the magic keys work?

Do they harm your console?

Magic Keys are basically pieces of plastic that you put in certain parts of your PS2 so that the PS2 thinks that it's closed. I don't think it harms your PS2 though.
