its the seagate. and for some reason the keyboard stops working on the menu i need in xboxhdm. so if your willing to spend time and fix this hd for me and ship it back. which ill pay for as well. ill gladly pay 25 dollars. or if you know a way or reason the keyboard stops working. a pm would be well appreciated.

i had ftp'd into my xbox during softmod setup. thought i messed it up and deleted the evo dash and the m$ dash and the linux save. for ma. so thank you for your time

It just randomly stops working? That's kind of weird. Have you tryed unplugging it and then plugging it back in?

yeah it just stops at the menu and the keyboard wont work, i would unplug it and plug it back in. its a usb keyboard with the ps2 adapter. but i even tried a different keyboard. no go. no show

when i softmodded i erased the backup of the eeprom and while i was ftp'd into the xbox i thought i messed up so i deleted files out of the cache and it erased the linux ma save. and the ms dash i think. and the evox wouldnt install due to not having 5960. soi tried hot swapping. i tried xboxhdm. and it would say its not in primary master or not unlocked. i think ill either pay somebody thru paypal to fix it or just buy a motherboard and hard drive set from llamma.com and have him install a mod chip with it.
