I recently had to reformat my hard-drive for my computer and so lost all my programmes including DVD Decrypter. I came back onto this site the other day to try to download it again; and found that it had been taken down!! :( Are there any other free programmes that I can download that can rip/burn DVD's?
Also, I have been having problems with DVD Shrink recently. I read a couple of threads and the majority sesemed 2 recommend the use of AnyDVD or Clone but these programmes are only free for the first 20 days. Are there any good alternatives that are free to download!?
Many Thanx Your PAL Al. :)

Hmmmm.... I just dl'ed DVD Decrypter. It doesn't seem 2 allow 1 to burn 2 DVDs any longer. Is there really any point in having this programme if it can't burn to DVD!? And I don't have Nero on my computer & don't really have the funds to buy it right now.....are there any permanent alternative burning programmes I can use? :S
Thanx.

As Car.Mike suggested try Ripit4Me, the necessary software is available for download via the GUI. You can use this program in wizard mode, where you go through the process as the program prompts you or use the one-click mode which should automate the whole thing.
Here is the Ripit$Me guide: http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?t=68097

There is nothing wrong with DVD Decrypter for some one who knows how to create a psl file and import it. Then using FixVTS to clean up and you're done. No need to wait for updates.
99% of all problems are between the computer and the chair.

Just Boinking:
LEST WE FORGET!

Remember, remember the fifth of November,
The gunpowder, treason and plot,
I see of no reason why gunpowder treason
Should ever be forgot...
A penny loaf to feed the Pope.
A farthing o' cheese to choke him.
A pint of beer to rinse it down.
A faggot of sticks to burn him.
Hip hip hoorah!
Hip hip hoorah!

@XweAponX
We prefer to leave our government structures intact. You all can do to your government whatever you want. Ironic that it was in 1814 that your troops tried to burn our capitol to the ground and failed. Be thankful that we forgave you otherwise you might all be singing praises to Hitler in your grammer schools still.
Just my 2˘ worth.

Yah? What's Hilter got to do with DVD Decrypter?
My reference to the Film V for Vendetta is less about overthrowing governments and more about defeating rediculous and tedious practices of so called Intellectual Property protection. The revolution I refer to has a lot to do with people like LuK forcing open the jaws of proprietary software and hardware. So I just post here in appreciation for LuK that he took the initiative. He got in personal trouble for making DVD Decrypter, but he still plods on making top software that he gives to us for free, including the code so that anyone who wants can incorporate his stuff into their programs.
This fact is reflected in the flury of programs that "Plug In" to DVD Decrypter, including DVD Shrink, Ripit4me, etc.
Also, I believe I posted that on the 5th of November. Eh, do I didn't: But Happy Guy Fawkes day anyway! I thought you blokes across the pond hung the bleeder in effigy every 5th of November and wore those masks. As it happened, I was bored and I grabbed the first moovie I had, which was a DVD-Decrypter copy of V for Vendetta.
Regarding political discussions, I would rather hear a discussion "about dogs pi$$ing in the street."
However, I do want to hear about Blu-ray recording: I am starting to see a few Blu-ray burners, and I am certainly excited about that. Nopt that I want to use them to copy HD DVD's, but for the fact that if I could store 25 GB onto One Disk, and that disk is durable, it would certaionly save me a lot of physical storage space.

You know what, how Afterdawn always gives a highlight to certain words when you post a message? I noticed that DVD Decrypter has such a link, and it goes to a web-page for a company called SlySoft.
I was wondering, does anyone know if these programs are any good?
I have noticed, there is an Elaborate Bytes CloneDVD, and there is a SLYSOFT Clone DVD. They appear to be almost the same program.
What is the story about that?
