I would like to rip some of my mp3 to the HDD and the one way I know of is to convert the mp3 into audio cd's and then do it. I was wondering if I could burn mp3 files on a DVD+RW as an audio DVD and then rip them to the hard drive. Has anyone tried DVD+RW on the XBox 360 for any purpose and did they work? Thanks

Audio DVD-Rs worked for me, i dont see why DVD+RW wont.Though sometimes some readers don't.

Would be nice to know, maybe someone will respond soon.

The 360 is confirmed to support DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW, CD-DA, CD-ROM, CD-R, CD-RW, WMA CD, MP3 CD, JPEG Photo CD

I copied a bunch of mp3s on a DVD+RW and burned it as a data dvd and the xbox saw that there was a mixed media disc in there but the play button never went solid. Then I copied the same disc on a DVD+R and it wouldn't read it either. So I know I am burning them the wrong way as my mp3's play fine off my thumb drive. How do I burn a DVDR with mp3s on it so my xbox can read it? Thank you

Do you think that if I hook my PSP up to the USB port it will take the music?

just make a data cd with on .mp3 on it, and it will play it perfectly. i hooked up my rca lyra mp3 player up to the usb and it worked... it only read the memory card not the built in hardrive on the lyra, i had a feeling it would work, since in windows when i plug in the mp3 player, it comes with Lyra connected, and storage device connected. So my guess is, if anything comes up in windows as a storage device then xbox 360 will reconize it and play music from it.
