I love taking videos and editing. The problem is that I dont have many edit options. I was wondering if there was free software that can let me do split screen editing, muzzle flash, masking, and other things? I am looking for something that is somewhat like this:fxhome.com. It doesnt need to be that exactly but have similar features. Please keep in mind that I am young and broke. I cant spend any money now.

my computer cant do 32 bit color setting

If you have a windows xp your pc would of came with Windows Movie Maker.

ya I have xp but the windows movie maker doesnt do special effects. It was a good idea and thank you for replying but I need something that does effects.

nope. I checked out movie maker. It only has abilities to do different lighting and colors. It looks nice but not for what im doing.

I use magix; not too complicated and very intuitive..., I think they have a trial version, just in case you decide to give it a try http://site.magix.net/english-us/home/video/
