when you drop your psp its never good. the psp's arent that strong. you're lucky you didnt break the lcd. when you dropped it you could have knocked the laser assembly out of calibration. could have messed with the mobo. whenever u drop a psp there is always physical damage. feel lucky it still powers up. best thing to do is take it apart and reassemble it and see if that helps.

I don't care if I have to disasemble it! All I care is that nothing is permanently damaged and that I don't have to pay, even if it is as low as 1 cent, for repairs! Can someone tell me this please, or is it uncertain?!
P.S.
On the start button it feels like alcaline is leaking!!!!

its uncertain until you take it apart and reassamble it as something might have been knocked loose. the only time the psp doesnt get damaged tho is when u drop it is when you drop it on a field of marshmallows. like i said theyre not that strong.

My PSP does not boot!!!!! The only way I can relax is if someone tells me I can fix it without wasting money!! I am poor and need money for my school, I am sacrificing enough as it is for games, pc's, etc!!!
P.S.
I just checked and my PSP does not boot! And can the alcaline sticky stuff be the sticky stuff from underneath the screen protector?

ok if it does not boot then u short circuited the mobo when it hit the water as water is conductive and sent electricity to places it should not have. you could replace the mobo but whoes to say u didnt also fry the switch that turns on the psp.

the switch light doesnt have much to do with it. that could mean you fried your switch, short circuited an led, or it just plain 'ol aint workin. if your psp doesnt turn on at all then u short circuited the mobo and the mobo is fried.

more then likely not. a new mobo might fix it but you could need more. u could of damaged the LCD also among other things. your best bet is selling the thing and buying a new one if it dont power on now.

yeah but losing some money is better then not gaining any at all. post it on ebay. you could get 50-60 bux for it. if u determine that you fried it i will buy it off you.

How old are you? Use some common sense, you keep sidetracking and asking questions that have already been ansewered. Its obvious from the thread you cant fix it yourself, and since there is no magic ferry that is going to come when your asleep and fix it, you have two 3 options.
1.Sell the POS, pray to whoever you pray to, and hope someone will buy it.
2.Go to a PROFESSIONAL and see what they say
3.Leave it as is.
Its your choice, but from reading this thread, its obvious your not going to fix it yourself.
