I cant get my ePSXe to run, Help!

Alright, I have firstly reached the conclusion that I have no idea what I'm doing, and it would be best that whatever help I recieve be stated for such an indavidual...
I have recently downloaded ePSXe in hopes of playing a few of my old favorite PS games again, but lord behold it isnt as simple as the Plug-and-play Snes and such Emulators.
What Im looking for is someone who will give my steps from start to finish so that I can get this thing working. Can anyone help me out?

HI I am totally new to emulators for PSx as well and had loads of probs with Epsx so I downloaded PS X 1.8 instead. YOu just have to add the bios and load the game iso (the bin file of the game) and it will work great. It is easy and fast to use. Remember to config the controller under File -> configuration once you have started the emulator. I got it from

Well, Im not totally sure of myself on this. You make it sound very easy, so I think, like a moron buisy with other things, I messed up the simple.
Now, I would like some more help if you feel like giving it, but I'm a bit wary about discussing this on a forum because I tried on the
NGemu forums and they basicly ran me out and ridiculed me for copyright laws and things even though I wan only asking for guidence, then compared me for wanting to be spoonfed. (Not going back there again.)

Ok no problem I will email you. I changed Emulator because I am a beginner as well and was having all sorts of headaches with epsx
