Sorry to bother you Guru's with this but:
Everytime I try to copy a DVD I am getting this error message:
********
" DVD Shrink encountered an error
and connot continue. Failed to read "E:/"
Data Error (cyclic redundancy check)
OK
***********
What does this mean. I used to get that message on every
20th DVD, now it is on every single one I try to copy.
What can I do to get around this?
I would appreacite any help at all.
I fo use Nero to burn, but it is the DVD Shrink Back-up process
that is giving me trouble.
Thanks
2) VobBlanker - Not always needed, but it will get rid of any protection that DVDFD left behind. VobBlanker also allows you to blank, replace, cut and strip titles.
RipIt4Me. I do not know anything about ripit4me so I will leave you with the excellent guide by arniebear. You can also download RipIt4Me from the same link.
AnyDVD works in the background to automatically remove the copy protection of a DVD movie. All you have to do is start up AnyDVD and continue using your normal compression engine, whether it's shrink, recode or CloneDVD, It's that easy.
Before you pay for this excellent program you have a 21 day trial
2) Invest in good quality media Taiyo Yuden and Verbatims are best. Also look out for Maxell,Sony,Fuji, MIJ's (made in Japan) these are also extremely good blank media.
And that your source disks are not dirty/scratched or smudged. If they are try cleaning them with some mild soap and water, if that does not work then return them for another original.
I forgot to add that I am really a "newbie" at this so some of the terminology will take some research for me to understand it.
But I appreacite the information and I will try to apply it.
I really do enjoy burning movies but this latest obstacle
has taken the fun out of it.
