Hi, I recently bought the Swap Magic version 3.6 discs to play the Japanese Berserk PS2 game, and it keeps saying "not a valid PS2 disc" when I press load game. Has anyone had this problem?

yeah i had that problem I have over 45 import games and none of them work on swap magic 3.6 so 2morrow im getting a DVD burner and im gonna try to backup one of my origial ps2 games and see if it works..

I dont think import games work on swap magic.. because they use bad DVD media

Prior to getting a mod chip I used swap magic extensively and it worked flawlessly. I have a PAL PS2, PAL swap magic and didn't have any problems playing NTSC games that I bought from Thailand.

My Japanese imports sometimes work with Swap Magic with slide tool, but my Swap Magic 3.3 DVD has been really inconsistent lately. Some days I can put in the DVD, do the swap with King of Fighters XI, and then have it work immediately. On other days, it may take like 15 minutes to even get the Swap Magic DVD running. Even if the DVD is successful, it doesn't always read the Japanese import. Not sure why this happens (old laser, perhaps? Swap Maic DVD messed up?) I do know that it's possible for Swap Magic to play some imports, for those who were wondering.
