Hi Everyone,

I just got my Premium 360 today, and was wondering which is better
to play in 720p or 1080i. I have a new Panasonic 26LE60 HDTV.

I also bought 5 games and was wanting advice on which one would
be good to start with.
1. Perfect Dark
2. Dead or Alive 4
3. Hitman Bloodmoney
4. Ghost Recon
5. The Elder Scrolls

Look at the back what ever it says for example HDTV 720 you probably might get the better game play out of that. Some say 1080 for instance MotoGP as it also says 420 and 720. But whatever it recommends would be and should be best ;)

1080 is better, but most games don't go over 720 yet, but if you have both options 1080 is your best choice.

1080i is higher resolution but it is a interlaced signal. I prefer 720p becasue its a Progressive scanning signal. IMO and many others a Progressive scanning signal is superior to a interlaced signal. Colors are much more vivid (Again imo) with a Progressive scanning signal no matter the lower resolution.

And many TVs technically dont support a true native 1080i resolution. Even though a TV says it supports 1080i, it may not be its native resolution. Hence the signal will be down converted.
