right i was playing my oblivion last night and for a bit the game was runing fine and then 1s i got to the prised with the guy and got on the hourses the hole game started to go mad it kept going realy jumpy and that while riding and if i got off the horse it did the same i all so found a statue and there was 3 people there and when i spoke the the women 1 her voice was fine then i went to roumers and her voice went deep as if it was some 1 else is any 1 else having these problems or is it that my 360 as the game is real version not backed up and it plays fine at the beginging its only this bit so far its been funy

M$ Customer Service says there are problems w/ Oblivion. it was the 2nd question asked when trying to figure out what was wrong, was have you used your console to play oblivion?

Elder Scrolls-oblivion is a Buggy game. Even with very powerful computers it is possible to crash. heavy errors and closures of game are due to programs using same memory location.

Basic fixes for those possibly following this thread (if you can get game to work at all on your computer hehe) 1) Various locations and events in games Will not, or CAN NOT load under certain gfx settings If a certain place keeps crashing (in my case was the house/mansion on 1st quest) you must set the graphics settings to another main settings (like medium to very low)

Theives quest-final chapter only works maybe 50% of time (no one ever looks for you) a workaround to manually open that quest is (PC ONLY) is hit Tilde key type in the following line :

player.setstage tg11heist 10

DO NOT DO THAT UNLESS at that last stage and none ever finds you after like 2 weeks in gameplay!!!!

Best way to minimize errors is keep gfx in lowest settings at all times (yeah i know gfx are better in higher settings)

My main problem is day or night the gameplay is very bright anyone know what settings in its ini file are to set it to have darkness?
