Attempting to hook up my Swap Magic 3.6/Magic Switch, having problems...

Hey guys, I was wondering if you could help me out with a problem I'm having with my Magic Switch. You see, the problem I've been having is that I can hook everything up okay, but for some reason the Swap Magic disc doesn' spin in the PSTwo. For the "A" sensor, I rolled a tissue, jammed it into the slot, and placed the "A" switch inside. For the "B" sensor, I moved the other piece aside and jammed the "B" piece in as well (I think this one might be the problem, I've done it multiple times and still the silver "snapper?" can close a little bit - it's not pushed all the way back for some reason.) For the "C" sensor, I placed the tool to the right of the two pillars - | |x - but again, it's still not working. I really don't want to open up my PSTwo to fix this, so does anyone else know of anything I might want to try? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't use swap magic but from all the reading I've done I was under the impression that you have to open up the pstwo to install tool C properly.
